“A Chaplain’s Memoir” is a firsthand account of what I witnessed on the ground in Israel following the devastating Hamas attacks. As part of a solidarity mission with the International Conference of Police Chaplains, I met with survivors, first responders, and police officers who risked their lives to protect others and are still grappling with the emotional and spiritual aftermath.

These aren’t just war stories. They’re human stories.

  • Stories of a police station turned battlefield.

  • Of courage in the face of terror.

  • Of broken hearts still choosing to serve.

Whether you're in law enforcement, the Jewish community, or simply someone who cares, this book is a tribute to the resilience of a people and the power of spiritual service during a time of darkness.

A Chaplain’s Memoir is a project of SoulLinks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing chaplaincy, spiritual care, and Jewish outreach to law enforcement, military personnel, and their families.

The memoir also features a heartfelt foreword by James Campbell, a United States military combat veteran and senior chaplain, whose moving words frame the book's mission through the lens of service, brotherhood, and shared moral duty.
